Special Milling Machine for Casting-riser developed by Changzhou Hidea Machinery Co., Ltd. was first introduced to ASIMCO Meilian in 2013. After a year of practical use, it has achieved a remarkable effect in removing riser residuum of brake disc castings and got Audi's year-end recognition.
The milling machine is a special equipment for cutting off casting riser developed by Changzhou Hidea Machinery Co., Ltd which belongs to the national utility model patent products and won ¡°China Foundry Equipment Innovation Award¡± in METAL China 2014. It is mainly used in rotational castings, especially in brake disc, compressing disc, brake drum, wheel hub, flywheel, etc. The machine is controlled by CNC system, with casting automatic exchange system, high processing efficiency, and suitable for processing large quantities of parts.
After putting into use in ASIMCO Meilian, it has greatly enhanced ASIMCO¡¯ s production efficiency by removing riser residuum of brake disc castings up to 400 pieces / hour which helps saving the annual cost of about 60 million RMB in personnel allocation and riser cutting scrap recycling, thus benefits the company¡¯ s economic. At the same time, because the equipment changes the traditional grinding way to the cutter cutting way of casting riser removal, it also reduces the noise and dust in the workshop therefore improves a lot in the working environment..
